Umwelt- und Ingenieurtechnik GmbH Dresden (UIT) is a German manufacturer and supplier of innovative Bioreactors and Biogas Testing Equipment, that will present its latest developments of laboratory-based Testing Equipment, such as the new BTP series for experiments under sterile conditions, at Bio360 Expo in Nantes.

A new standard biogas test plant of type BTP2-control, complete with internal gas quality and gas quantity measurement system, has recently been launched by UIT. The system is standardized in terms of fermenter sizes, agitator, heating, feeding, discharge and measurement technologies.

The graphic shows a possible set-up with 4 fermenters in parallel. Reactor sizes from 5 l up to 400 l are available.

The BTP2-control is used for substrate testing and gas potential tests. The system is ideally suited for product development (enzymes, nutrients), process optimization and biotechnology applications.
